SILVERPLATE FOOD WARMER, SHEFFIELD, C. 1882, H 12":Ingenious server with two shell form hinged covers on a swivel so can be raised and spun to cover well or lowered to become part of outer sides. H 12". Stamped hallmark at the rim along with English registry mark indicating 1882 (see additional photo).
