Flemish Late 17th/Early 18th Century Oil On Canvas, H 27.5'' W 38.5'' Standing male figure playing a flute at the forest edge with castle ruins in the distance. Having a painted wood frame, H 31.5", W 43.25".
Not relined. Overall varnish fluoresces under UV light. Overall craquelure. One 1/8" circular pressure indentation with pigment loss in the lower right at the lake's edge. 1/2" of slight pigment loss in the sky above the mountain.
