A very fine and detailed d'ore bronze French Empire style lamp. Based on an Empire period oil lamp. However, this lamp was fitted for electricity. Offers stacked registers of ancient cameos, acanthus leaf designs and caryatid form cherubs. Finely cast, heavy feel. Provenance: Property of a prominent Bloomfield Hills, MI and Palm Beach, FL estate.
