Writing desk or "Bureau Plat". Beaded bronze ormolu around the top, figural corners in the forms of a man and woman. One central drawer flanked by two drawers. Acanthus leaf pulls.
Chipping to the veneer at the front right edge of the top and along the apron in the back. Scattered lifting to the veneer. Missing fastening pins for the left hand drawer.
