The lot includes a pair of 18th century French Louis XVI armchairs and pair of 20th century Louis XVI style armchairs. The 18th century chairs offer scrolling handles and fluted tapering legs. The collection is upholstered in cream color fabric with fitted green toile linen covers. The 20th c. armchairs are by Anthony J. Ruzzin as he was commissioned to make close reproductions of the 18th c. chairs - Each 20th c. chair inscribed on underside "A. J. Ruzzin". Provenance: Collection of Linda Taubman, MI

Condition

The wood frames show edge wear and conservation efforts consistent with age and wear.
