Lock marked "Mre Imp ale de Chatellerault" with inspection mark of P in a shield. 7.5" barrel bearing numerous markings, "A", "M", "L", "C", "MI". M1822 at the tang. Barrel, stock and ramrod marked 1769. Each element also bearing inspector stamps, mostly "P".
Hammer does not lock back. Overall pitting and wear due to age and use.
