Enamel hour and alarm dials within a gold gilded and bright engraved design of fruits dripping from vines. Can be set to chime on 1. Hours and Quarters or 2. Silent or 3. Quarters only. With key. Complicated movement impressed #3665 and with the manufacturers' customer mark "B S F" along the top of the works. Center of the works impressed "Black Starr and Frost New York" in an oval. Provenance: Property from a Grosse Pointe, MI private collector.
