Museum quality. Hand applied and fired gold gadroon and oak leaf border over bleu de la Reine ground. Central oval hand painted scene of the original Escalier d'Honneur, Chateau de Saint-Cloud signed lower right by the artist Guillou. Verso having a hand written underglaze description "Château de St Cloud", Sevres oval 1868 date stamp and orange Chateau De F. Bleau (Fontainebleau) stamp. Modeler mark incised verso "68-14".
