FRENCH WALNUT AND MARBLE TOP CONSOLE TABLE, 19TH C., H 30", L 36", D 24":The shaped and molded top with inset marble tablet above a conforming frieze carved with diamond patterning and featuring a central foliate medallion, raised on c-scroll legs having winged cherub heads carved to each knee, joined by a stretcher and ending in foliate scrolled feet. From the Estate of Palmer T. Heenan, Grosse Pointe Park.
With light surface scratches, marks, and nicks throughout consistent with age and use.
