GERARD BRENDER A BRANDIS ILLUS. "IF STONES COULD SPEAK", A BOOK:A special edition book (hand sewn and bound) containing thirty-three wood engravings by Gerard Brender a Brandis and a collection of four essays by Timothy Findley. Essays describe four areas of Stone Orchard the farm which was Timothy Findley's and Bill Whitehead's home for 33 years. Illustrations, one for each year Findley and Whitehead lived there are based on artist's sketches of places and flora on the farm - representative of Eastern Ontario. Book contains 70 pages printed on rag paper.
Slip case hand made by Mary Carrington. Measures 15cm by 15 cm. Good condition
