The Black Forest German wall clock is ornamented with hand-carved with hanging game bird and rabbit below a stag head with crossed rifles. With a flourish of oak leaves and acorns. A horn encases the dial, which offers carved composition Roman numeral hour markers with repeating carved composition minute hand and hour hand. Bears a label from Wm. H. Moore, Philadelphia. Provenance: Property of a Grosse Pointe Park, MI private collector.| Please note this lot is quite heavy. DuMouchelles is happy to provide curbside pickup services. Condition

Retains original finish. When viewed under natural light, a repair was observed to the rope hanging the bird. With edge wear throughout areas of high relief. At the Roman numerals, the X at 12 o'clock has damage an is missing a lower portion. The X for 10 o'clock needs to be reattached. The V for 7 o'clock is missing. No weights.
