Mid 19th century M1817 infantry hanger sword is marked on the ricasso F. Horster and Solingen. Having a solid brass guard and grip that appears to be marked SC01381 (lettters are worn). Overall length is 28 1/4". The M1873 artillery saber is dated 1920 on the guard. Having a wire-wrapped shagreen grip, brass lion's head pommel. Knight and crossed cannons decorations on the guard. Solingen is visible on the ricasso however, the maker's mark is hidden by the guard. Inspectors marks also visible on the guard.
