33" single-edged blade etched with a horse-drawn artillery crew, officer on horseback, crossed cannons and overall floral designs including at the spine. One side of the blade is etched "3. Bad. Feld Art. Regt. No 50.". 50th (3rd Baden) Field Artillery, which mustered in 1899. Ricasso marked W K & C with a king and knight's head. Steel guard with shagreen-wrapped grip. Includes the original black painted steel scabbard. Provenance: Gifted to the consignor during a trip to Germany by a descendant of the original owner. Light pitting to the blade. Scrapes to the scabbard.
