GERMAN SILVER TEA SET, 19TH C., THREE PIECES, & ITALIAN SILVER COVERED SUGAR BOWL:German silver includes 1 teapot marked "Scheel", probably for August Scheel, H.7 3/4", and 1 coffee pot, H.10" (no maker's mark), both bear the Kassel City mark, mid 19th century; and 1 .812 silver creamer by Proll, with gold wash interior, stamped "13", mid 19th century, H.5 3/4". Together with 1 Italian .800 silver covered sugar bowl, gold wash interior, made in Naples, stamped underneath, W.6 3/4" to the handles. Four items total. From the collection of Dr. Marion Scott and Ann Scott, Grosse Pointe Shores.
Condition
Small ding on body of teapot, otherwise good condition. Jw See additional photos of marks. Troy ounce weights are approximate, as follows: teapot-16.8; coffee pot-22.7; creamer-6.75; and covered sugar bowl-16.84.
