GERRIT SINCLAIR (1890-1955), OIL ON MASONITE, 1936, H 24", W 30", CRYSTAL LAKE, MI:Signed in the lower right corner. At the Lake, 1936, near Crystal Lake, Michigan. Gerrit Sinclair was a very well known Wisconsin regionalist.
Condition
Appears to be in good condition. Ad (As examined under UV light in the unopened frame: various small areas of fluorescence under UV light, but probably not due to overpainting; 2 smaller than pinhead nicks in the paint in the UR and UL; patina wear. Rf, 6-8-2017)
