GORHAM STERLING COMPOTE, C. 1873, H 5 1/2":Sterling silver classical style compote flanked by scrolling vine handles, engraved period monogram at one side; stamped manufacturer's mark underneath along with number 485 and letter F. Measures H.6 1/4" x 9 3/4" to the handles. Weighs approximately 13.24 troy oz.
Several small dents to the bowl and rim of the base, another dent at the upper rim.
