GROUP OF BASE METAL POCKET ARTICLES, 4 ITEMS, L TO 3 1/2":A group of (4) base metal pocket articles, comprising: (1) shell-shaped box with shell form gadrooning to top and cloth inserts to interior, unmarked; (1) pebble snuff box with chased exterior, unmarked; (1) ovoid-shaped box having engraved central cartouche and foliate details to top, with lined pattern to bottom, unmarked; and (1) shaped rectangular box having a hinged top, decorated with a hand-chased Asian figural scene to top, unmarked. All display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of polish and heavier tarnishing to the grooves. More wear and slight loss of detail to the decoration around the edge. Hinged lids are in good working order.
