GROUP OF COIN SILVER FLATWARE ITEMS, LATE 18TH-20TH C., 35 PIECES:Comprised of various types of spoons, including demitasse spoons, salt spoons, teas spoons, and serving spoons, along with the occasional fork. Almost all pieces monogrammed. Makers include: Albert Coles, Andrew Ellicott Warner, Andrew Wilkie, Carleton, Carleton & Kimball, Challener, Edward Lownes, Elkington, John L Westervelt, S.W. Robertson, W. Whitaker, and William Hutton & Sons Ltd. Also includes: (6) spoons with four struck marks to terminal reverse, including various numbers, initials "AVC" and a Maltese cross; (2) unmarked coin silver spoons; (1) silver-plate fork with rubbed mark; (1) coin silver spoon marked "18 1/4 Holsen 1872"; (1) continental spoon stamped "Lincke"; (2) coin silver spoon with stamped "12" to back; (1) coin silver spoon with stamped "REF" to reverse; (1) coin silver hand engraved spoon, late 18th century, with unidentified rubbed maker's mark; (1) silver plate demitasse or salt spoon from Birmingham, England; (1) possibly J. Graves demitasse spoon; (1) demitasse spoon stamped "JLH" and lion rampant to reverse; and (1) coin silver salt spoon with stamped marks of star, bust, and anchor to reverse. Approximately 33.66 troy ounces measurable.

Condition

Some spoons with dents and cracks to bowls. All with varying degrees of surface scratches and marks consistent with age and use. Many marker's marks are worn and some are illegible.
