HAND-COLORED ENGRAVINGS (4), CITRUS FRUITS & LANDSCAPE STUDIES, 18TH C., 12" X 8", POSSIBLY AFTER VOLCKAMER (1644-1720):Including 3 depicting citrus fruits, each with a Latin designation on a ribbon and a plate number in the upper right corner, including "Limon Striatus Amalphitanus", "Lumia Ollulae Aspectu", and "Alia Lima Citrata Oblonga et Mostrosa Sive Scabiosa"; and 1 other with multiple fruits and blossoms above a landscape, "L. C. Glotsch" in the lower right corner for Ludwig Christoph Glotsch. All are in matched mirrored frames, 23 1/4" x 18 1/2" overall. Possibly after Johann Christoph Volckamer's (1644-1720) "Nurnbergische Hesperides". The condition is fairly apparent in the photo--each is toned and creased; few torn corners; some pin holes.
