The fringe is worn but it does not cut into the border or mat.  There is a yellow stain on the fringe at one corner, that is approx. 8" long and 3" wide.  There is some wear the pile at the center and to the first couple borders near the fringe.  Needs to be cleaned.  TW 8-17-17
