Very well done  impressive oil painting.  As viewed under UV light:  c. 3% to 5% spotty overpainting with a little in the LL, in the coat of the main figure, in the background, etc. (the repair in the upper left center in the background is readily visible); canvas has been cut out of its stretcher bars and mounted to a lining canvas (done relatively recently); overall craquelure/cracking of the paint is stable; two very small tears in the canvas with loss of paint along the bottom edge; some scuffing/light scratching along the edges; not framed.  Rf, 3-21-2017
