"Relaxing forward Annie saw the gigantic, hissing crest of the approaching sea blot out the sky." Illustrating page 35. Verso retains label reading: "For Publication in The Saturday Evening Post / Title of Story: D???" / Artist: Harold von Schmidt / No. P2279 / No. of Pictures: 2". No apparent signature.
The black light examination appeared to be glean. There are some minor instances of overpainting.
