Verso has a letter attached dated 28th Sept. 1929, to Mrs. Griffith with a written and signed letter from Miss Keller's companion of 46 years, Polly Thomson, regarding Mrs. Griffith's request for Helen Keller to autograph books for the library. Letter reads: Dear Mrs. Griffith, Your letter to Miss Keller received for which she wishes us to thank you. Miss Keller will be most happy to autograph the books mentioned + if for____ ______ as soon as possible Miss Keller will ____ + be there before leaving for New York which will be sometime early in October.
