Provenance: Property of an Italian collector who willed it to his daughter who, in turn, brought it with her when she emigrated to the United States circa 1970. Dueling scene retains its original varnish but suffers losses due to wear and age. Marriage scene shows major losses due to age, poor storage - retains original pigment and varnish. Both sold "as is". Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
