Male and female figures are on chairs which are separate. Possibly ancestor or royal figures. Bearded male figure holding female idol and wearing necklace with large ornament, with a fabric wrap around his head. Female figure holding knotted cord and wearing necklace with ornament between breasts; she has a detailed hair style made up of swirled concave forms. Scarification on both figures. Provenance: From the Estate of Prominent Collector, Leon Zielinski, Macomb County, MI
