JACKSON, MI SEARCH WARRANT FOR MOONSHINE DURING PROHIBITION, 1926, H 24" L 21 3/8":A "Complaint for Search Warrant" for Jackson, Michigan issued for September 13th, 1926. The issuer, Officer Elmo Huttenlocker, observed the location for three weeks, observing "bottles and jugs being carried from [the location]", "several automobiles drive away from said place, have seen people go into this place sober and come away in an intoxicated condition." Housed within a framed collage presentation including a plaque reading "Moonshine 1926" and the accompanying warrant envelope.
Condition
The warrant itself is in stable condition, but shows multiple creases, probably from original issuing. There is some toning and fading to the paper, but appears to be in good condition otherwise.
