Jan Luyken (Dutch, 1649-1712) Engraving The Signing Of The Edict Of Nantes, H 10.75'' W 14'' Signed "Jan Luiken, inven, et fecit." lower right. Inscribed "Het Edict van Nantes werd door Hendrick de Vierde Bevestight Den 25 Februari 1599 binnen Parus. Dit Edict van Nantes, is te sien in de Autentique stucken, van het Ereste deel Fol. 35" and labeled "Cersie Deel Fol, 175" Upper Right.
Vertical crease through the center with slight tearing at the upper and lower edges of the crease. Small tear in the upper left corner margin. Soft handling creases, scattered points of foxing.
