JAPANESE BRONZE TIGER, MEIJI PERIOD, H 7 1/2", L 15", SIGNED, WITH A CARVED WOOD BASE:A snarling tiger with inset glass eyes, molded signature mark underneath highlighted in red (see additional photo), raised on a separate carved wood base. Overall H.10 1/2" x 15 1/2" x 6 3/4".
Condition Report: inset glass eyes and inset signature under body. The Tail is Loose and Needs to Be Re-pegged. The Tail when touched wiggles it's loose and The bronze PEG is showing & needs Re-pegging. Good to Fair condition.
