Three Japanese Imari blue and white porcelain bowls. The first having a height of 3.75" and a diameter of 10". Decorated with landscapes, bamboo trees and koi fish. No marks on the underside. The second bowl has a height of 3.5" and a diameter of 9 5/8". Decorated with flowers and birds. Character mark on the underside. The third bowl has a height of 2.5" and a diameter of 8.75". This bowl is also decorated with flowers and birds. It also bears a character mark on the underside. Provenance: Private Collection, Boston-Edison District, Detroit, MI (40-year resident of the Boston-Edison Ford House)
Largest bowl has some light scratching at the inside of the bowl. No chips, cracks or repairs. Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
