JAPANESE MONUMENTAL CLOISONNE VASE, 19TH C., H 35":Light lavender ground, baluster-form, motif of flowers (chrysanthemums and wisteria) and birds. Dia. 13".
Condition
There is a dent at the rim approx. 1 1/2", and in this area at the underside of the rim, there is loss to the cloisonné' approx. 1 1/2". On the body of the vase there are multiple hairline cracks. These cracks are very fine and there is NO loss to the cloisonné' in these areas. Otherwise this is a beautiful antique vase
