JAPANESE SATSUMA EARTHENWARE FIGURE OF CRANE, MEIJI PERIOD, H 13 1/2", L 9", D 7 1/2":Figure of crane preening by tree. Heavily painted with fired gold accents. Meiji period (1868-1912). From the estate of Barbara K. Wrigley of Grosse Pointe Farms.
Wear to the gilt around the birds chest and minor wear to the paint overall, good condition.
