JAPANESE SWORDS, ENLISTED MAN'S KATANA AND ONE OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD, C1940, 2 PCS., L 27" BLADES:Includes one Japanese enlisted man's katana having a metal hilt, bronze tsuba, 27" blade with stamped serial number 109929 and metal scabbard. One officer's dress sword having a 27" blade, leather hilt with wire wraps, metal scabbard. Brass guard with chrysanthemum decorations.
katana exhibits rust and pitting to blade. Blade has been dulled, losses to paint on scabbard, wear to finish on hilt. Dress sword also exhibits pitting an rust on blade. Paint losses to scabbard.
