KESTNER & CO. GERMAN BISQUE HEAD DOLL,:A Kestner & Co German bisque head doll. Having brown sleep eyes, an open mouth, and a ball-jointed body. Accompanied by original dress. Having impressed maker's marks and "14 1/2" and "Germany "146" to back of head. Red stamp: "Germany 5 1/2" to body at lower back.

In "as-is" condition (MK).  Left ring finger is cracked and loose; pinky is cracked. Left foot big toe and 2nd toe are chipped. Ct 1/27/17  There are two 1" chips to the knee area of each leg, and there are chips at the upper thigh area of the abdomen. The head has a lot of glue residue from where the plate and the hair were glued. There is a small area of paint missing from both the left cheek and the top edge of the forehead, both approx. 1/8".  RB 2-3-17
