KEUFFEL & ESSER CO. IRON & BRASS U. S. NAVAL SEXTANT, EARLY 20TH C., ENCASED:Serial number 28938, fitted in a mahogany case with "Liet. A. Langfield U.S.N. 553" engraved at the inset shield-form reserve at the hinged cover. The case measures H.5 1/2" x 9 3/4" x 9 7/8".
Appears to be intact and complete (see photos); interior of the case is possibly re-fitted with a piece of wood at the center.
