KEVIN MCCARTHY (B. 1955) BRONZE FIGURE, #3/20, 1991, H 27 1/2" W 17", "CALLING THE BUFFALO":Kevin McCarthy (American, born 1955). "Calling the Buffalo".1991. Bronze depicting a Native American man preforming with a ceremonial buffalo robe. Having incised signature and date to base, above stamped 3/20. Condition
Leather on most seats and backs shows significant wear however, all the hardware is intact JMF 19th century Five of the side chairs have noticeable tears to the leather backs: three of these chairs have tears along the lower edge, one has tears at the top and lower edge, and one has a tear at the top edge. All of the side chairs have noticeable cracks and wear to the leather seats. Six side chairs have holes in the leather of the seats ranging from 1/2" to 1": five of these chairs have holes at the front corners, and one has a hole along the side. Both of the arm chairs have torn and worn leather on the arms. The leather seats show noticeable wear and cracking, but the backs look good. All of the chairs show much wear to the finish on the wood frames. RB 4-4-17
