Of rectangular form, with applied and molded rim, lid opening to reveal two glass inkwells, each with marked silver collar, flanking a central lidded nibs box, and the front with dip pen, raised on four corner ball feet. Hallmarked Ellis Jacob Greenberg, Birmingham, 1916 with Britannia mark. Also with unidentified mark bearing initials "PO". The dip pen is marked "Sterling" and "Tiffany & Co.". Weighing 35.62 troy ounces measurable. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor shallow dints and bumps. Heavier contact marks and some staining to interior. One inkwell is missing silver rim.
