KU LE, CHINESE PAINTED SCROLL, 19TH C, H 45", W 12", WOMAN PICKING FLOWERS:Depicts a Chinese woman picking flowers. Signed upper left and red stamp. Inscription on outer edge states Ku Le lived in the reign of Chi Lu Lung and was a hat painter of women of that period and titled: "In a beautiful unfrequented spot the gentle lady gathers flowers". Inscription shown in secondary photo in website.
