Group of five Limoges porcelain boxes with hand painted floral and bird motifs. Boxes range in size from 1" to 3.2" tall and 1.5" to 3.5" wide. Detailed clasps include birds, padlocks, and a Rococo shell. The two trunk style boxes have miniature glass scent bottles inside. The small trunk has two green bottles marked SGD 20 and 14 respectively, and the larger trunk box has three amethystine glass bottles marked SGD 7, 26, and 27 respectively. The largest box has a blue crossed arrow mark and is stamped in fired gold "Made in France expressly for Marshall Field Company Chicago" Measuring approximately 2" tall with a 3.5" width.
