LOUIS ORR, ETCHING 1920, PLATE SIZE: H 15", W 23 1/4", UNITED STATES CAPITOL:Pencil signed lower right. Frame size is 25.5" x 32". Shows Capitol building with many pedestrians, American flag and two vintage automobiles. Orr was a premier American etcher and the first living American artist to have his work collected by the Louvre. Orr's dates are 1879 - 1961. Active in Middletown, Connecticut.
