LOUIS PAUL DESSAR (AMERICAN, 1867-1952), OIL ON CANVAS, H 23 1/2", W 28 1/2":An end of day pastoral scene, gathering sheep. Framed, measures overall H.30" x 35". From the Estate of Daniel Clancy, Voltaire Place, Grosse Pointe Farms.
Condition
There is craquelure overall, and the frame has light chipping. Also, there is a 3" x 2" repair in the upper right corner. Ad The canvas has been relined. The painting has approx. 25% to 30% overpainting.
