LOUIS SOLON DECORATED PATE-SUR-PATE PORCELAIN PLAQUE, C.1880, H 6", W 16 1/4":A deep green ground rectangular plaque; a mythological scene of seven ladies attempting to throw putti into flames, a winged figure holding a triton stands guard on a gate-like structure. Decorated by Marc-Louis-Emmanuel Solon, monogrammed. Frame measures overall H.13 1/2" x 23 3/4".
Craquelure noted to the center of the plaque.
