LOUIS XVI STYLE GILT CONSOLE & BEVELED MIRROR, H 84", W 29", D 15":The beveled mirror plate in a gently arched conforming frame with a floral crest, the beaded frame with entwined ribbon-and-leaf décor. The console with a bowed black marble top above a conforming ribbon-and-leaf carved frieze with pendant floral garlands, raised on tapering circular legs joined by a caned stretcher and raised on toupie feet.
Condition
There are scratches to the marble top and a repair at the right back corner. This repair is approx. 6" long and 5" wide. There are approx. 5 chips to the edge of the marble. These chips range in size from 1/8" to 1/4". At the bottom of the console there is a repair to the back right leg, where it meets the shelf. There is also some discoloration at the center of the gold painted caned shelf. TW 8-16-17
