LOUIS XVI STYLE MAHOGANY BARREL BACK CHAIR H 32" W 23" D 22":The barrel back is cane with a leather seat. The top back and side arms are carved with an acanthus leaf motif. The legs are fluted, with a carved floral medallion at the top of each leg. From the Estate of Daniel Clancy, Voltaire Place, Grosse Pointe Farms. There is some caning loss starting at the upper left side of the chair and traveling down toward the seat. This is evident in the first photo. The chair shows wear from age and use.
