Depicting a group of young children next to a peddler of pots and pans, sitting on the side of a country road. Signed on verso and titled "M. Meakins", "Old Pots, Old Pans, Old Kettle". The canvas has been lined. Under blacklight, there appears to be overpainting. In the upper right there is a patch. There is a loss to the lower right with exposes the lining canvas. As is condition, with a modern frame around it.
