M. Redon (Limoges) Cobalt Porcelain, Fired Gold Edge Dinner Plates, Bowls & Dessert Plates, C. 1905, 23 pcs A partial dinnerware collection of Limoges porcelain designed by Barny & Rigoni for M. Redon retailed by Bazar Colon. Includes thirteen dinner plates (DIA 9.5"), three soup bowls (H 1.75" x DIA 9.25"), and seven dessert plates (DIA 8.5"). Features a cobalt blue rim accented with raised gilding and fired gold 'V' monograms to the basins. Each bearing signature branding and auction paper labels affixed to the undersides.
Condition
One dinner plate has a 3/4" rim chip. One dinner plate has impact crazing to the basin that is smooth to the touch. The collection has a minor degree of losses to the gilding. Otherwise, no losses or visible demerits were observed.
