M1840 HALL CARBINE RIFLE, L 21" BBL:Hall breech loader, 'Fishtail' butt. Overall length of 40". Having sling bar and saddle ring. Stamped "U.S. S. North MIDL TN, CONN 1841" on top of breech. "NWP" at rear sight. Including ramrod.
Stock worm eaten on right side.
