MARC CHAGALL (FRENCH/RUSSIAN, 1887-85), SIGNED EXHIBITION POSTER, 1974, H 29.5", W 20.5":A signed Marc Chagall exhibition poster for the show "Message Biblique Marc Chagall", an exhibition of the complete set of biblical paintings by Chagall. The thematic thread that bound the canvases together was Chagall's interpretation of various episodes from three Old Testament books: the Song of Songs, Genesis and Exodus. Signed and dated in marker lower right. From an edition of 200 plus artist proofs. Poster printed by Charles Sorlier.
