Mary Chase Perry, Pewabic Pottery Copper And Red Iridescent Bowl (Stable Studios) C. 1912, H 2.75'' Dia. 6.12'' An early and rare example, Persian influence, created at Stable Studios, M1 cloth label affixed on the underside (this label created by Charles Lang Freer was placed on pieces by Mary Chase Perry to identify museum quality), along with partial paper Pewabic Pottery label. Early impressed Pewabic Pottery mark with impressed dot in the center on the underside. Provenance: Property of a Prominent Metro Detroit Collector of Pewabic Pottery.
