Signed in blue, crossed swords. Having the number 1717 scratched into the underside, probably being a pattern numbered as the sword mark was not used prior to 1725 and the dot was used after 1756. Depicting a cherub passing a torch to a lady who is dressed in a flowing gown. Having a separate laurel banded and garland swag decorated pedestal base. Height of the base 5.25". Depth 5".
