Military Medals, Franco-Prussian War, WWI And WWII, Five Pieces | A collection of five military medals. Including two British war medals from the first world war. The first marked at the edge "5652 PTE B. Crocker R. Newf'd R.", the second marked "489192 PTE J. G. Cohoon 15-Can. Inf.". The third medal is a British first world war medal "For Bravery in the Field", marked at the edge "109574 PTE. G.H. Rolph 4/Can: M.R.BN.". The fourth medal is a British second world war medal, no markings at the edge. All four British medals have diameters of 1 3/8". The fifth medal is a German medal from the Franco-Prussian war, 1870-1871. Marked at the edge "AUS EROBERTEM GESCHUETZ" (From Conquered Cannon). Medal is made from the bronze from captured cannon barrels during the war, diameter 1 1/8".
